Lullaby
Video, Installation, In situ, Time

A mini camera is installed on the moving pendulum of a grandfather clock. The camera transmits in real time the image of the space and of the people in it.

At the Parisian art event “Nuit Blanche” at the Hôtel d’Albret in 2002, the camera transmitted the images on a screen in a right angle to the clock.

At the exhibition “Avant travaux” at the architecture school of Versailles, inaugurating the art centre in 2003, the camera transmitted its image to a video projecteur that projected right on the wall where the clock hang.

How does a baby in its craddle see the world ? After a first reaction of dizzyness, the constant to and fro movement of the image has a hypnotising effect on the spectator.

A sort of “Eye of Time”.
